October 9-12, Monterey
All members are invited to the 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM)of the Mediterranean Garden Society (MGS) which will be hosted by our Branch in Monterey.
      Thursday evening, October 9th, there will be a welcoming reception at the event hotel, Casa Muras, Monterey.
      Firday, October 9th, will be devoted to visiting gardens and important local natural history sites in the Carmel & Carmel Valley area.
      On Saturday, October 11th, there will be a mini-symposium (co-sponsored with Pacific Horticulture magazine) - Gardening Under Mediterranean Skies VI - which is also open to the public. The event will feature presentations by noted local garden authorities, and garden visits arranged by a group of eminent landscape designers.
      The General Assembly of MGS membership will be held on Sunday, October 12, with free afternoon to spent in beautiful Monterey, followed by a closing dinner at a special historic location.
      Two days of optional visits are being planned for Monday-Tuesday, October 13 & 14.
